This article explains connecting your BambooHR account to your QR platform and creating Digital Business Cards by importing your BambooHR contacts in bulk.
What is a Digital Business Card?
A
Digital Business Card is a Landing Page
containing a person's or legal entity's contact data and business information. In addition, you can also embed a YouTube video or link your social media accounts like LinkedIn or Instagram.
You can quickly and easily share your Digital Business Card with a QR
Code from your Apple or Google Wallet, so current and future business partners may directly save contacts on their devices.
How the Integration with BambooHR works
To integrate your BambooHR account with our QR Code Platform, we use a connector to exchange information between both systems. After entering your access credentials, you will be able to retrieve the necessary data from your BambooHR account.
1. Log into your BambooHR account

Once logged in, open your account menu and choose API Keys.
3. Add a new API Key
Click Add New Key to open the BambooHR API Key Generator.

Now, please enter a name for your new API Key, and hit Generate Key.

Hit COPY KEY and paste it into a text file; We will need it in a few minutes.
Once this window is closed, you cannot go back to review the Key - you would have to create a new one.
After saving the key in your file, you may close this window; Click Done.
Remember: Save your Key!7. Open your account's Integrations Page
Once logged in, go to Integrations and choose BambooHR Import.

On the next screen, please enter the Key you saved, as well as your chosen Company Domain at BambooHR.

Activate this option to automatically synchronize your contacts on a daily basis.

Conntect button.Now, a message will be displayed at the top of the screen, informing you about the successful connection of your accounts.
Success messagePlease choose which contacts should be imported; by default, any contacts not already imported by another user of your account (or yourself) will be selected. Deselect any unwanted contacts.

Last but not least, click Import to start the process.

After a short moment, you will find all imported entries in the selected folder or the root directory of your account.
