Introduction
Learn how to label your QR Codes when bulk-downloading them. The names you chose for your QR Codes will be displayed beneath or on top of the Code - depending on the design.
How to label your QR Codes when bulk-downloading them
1. Log into your account
2. Create a CSV to bulk-create your QR Codes
Use a CSV-file to bulk-upload your QR Codes and use the numbers or IDs as the QR Codes' names. View our sample CSV-file to learn how it's done:
Download a sample CSV for bulk-uploading QR Codes.
You can name your QR Codes consecutively, e.g. 0001, 0002, and so on. In the CSV-file
- Column A is the Target-URL,
- Column B is the QR Codes name (that will be displayed as a label),
- Column C is the QR Codes Short-URL.
Please create your CSV-file accordingly before uploading. On the right of the 'Import' page you can find further instructions on creating it.
Don't use any headers in your CSV-file!
3. Go to your Import Page
Click Import in the left-hand menu and choose Import QR Codes.
Hit "Import" in the left-hand menu and choose "Import QR Codes"... 4. Upload your CSV
Select your CSV and click Import QR Codes.
Choose the prepared CSV and hit "Import QR Codes" 5. Download the whole bulk you just uploaded
After importing, you can find the imported bulk of QR Codes in the list below the Import button. You can also find the QR Codes in your general list of QR Codes by clicking the View button. Click Download to start the download process.
Click "Download" to get your bulk. On the right you can find instructions on how the CSV must be built. 6. Choose your preferred template
Choose a template to be applied to your QR Codes. Now choose the desired file format. We suggest using vector formats to keep your QR Codes sharp and unpixelated, regardless of the current zoom factor. Of course, we also offer raster formats.
Choose your desired file format to download the bulk. 8. Activate the option to add names
Open up the Extras tab and activate the option to Add name under QR Code.
Activate the option "Add name under QR Code" to add the QR Codes` names as labels 9. Download your QR Codes
After everything is set up, hit Download and you will receive a ZIPed folder, containing your labeled QR Codes.
...and get your QR Codes. Can't find the Download button? Happens to the best of us. Please choose both template and desired file format for the button to appear.
10. Wait for the job to finish
Meditate or drink some tea until the Job is finished. The duration depends on the file format, the design and, of course, the number of QR Codes. A few QR Codes wont take more than a few seconds, but 500 (which is the maximum number per download) could take a few minutes. We will send you an E-mail once the job is done.
Wait a few moments until the QR Codes are ready for download...
...and then get your QR Codes. 11. Now you have your labeled QR Codes!
You now have a set of labeled QR Codes on your harddrive to print, send, or use any way your workflow requires.
Enjoy your labels!
