What is a Link Type?
GS1 Link Types define the relationship between a product's digital identifier and the various kinds of web-based information that can be accessed about this product. This could include anything from the product description, nutritional details, allergen information, and user manuals to promotional content and certification data.

How can I create a Link Type?
Login into your Account
Login into your account and head to the QR Code section.
Create or edit a GS1 QR Code
Click on Create QR Code and select GS1. Then enter your GTIN and a default URL.
Create a GS1 QR CodeAdd a Link Type
You can now add additional Link Types and set a target URL for each Link Type. You can also Choose a language if you want users to be redirected to a localized version of the Link Type.
Add optional Link TypesFinally click on Create QR Code to finish.
How to test a Link Type?
To test a Link Type redirect simple add the Link Type as a parameter:
https://id.yourcompany.com/01/01234567890123?linkType=allergenInfo
The example above will redirect the user to a landing page showing allergenic information about the product.
If type Link Type does not exists, a 404 error will be returned.
