So when I scan a QR Code, am I forwarded directly to the destination address, without banners, ads, etc. being displayed?

Yes! Our service is free of any kind of advertising from 3rd party providers.
Beware of third party QR Code readers displaying ads
If a user is using a free QR Code reader, the reader app may display an advertising banner. We have nothing to do with this and unfortunately have no influence on it.
The good news is: almost all smartphones can already be used with the built-in camera app read the QR Code and make third-party applications obsolete. This means that neither we nor the smartphone will display advertising banners.
On free accounts we show our logo on landing pages
On landing pages like digital business cards, social QR Codes, PDF QR Codes or coupons we display our logo when you are using our free plan.
Use one of our paid plans if you don't want our logo to be displayed.
