Last update 6 months agoThe IP address is used. For each IP address also a position is approximated ( average accuracy about 200 kM). For a more precise position, activate the GPS location in the options menu of a QR code.

Last update 7 months agoNo. For security reasons it is not possible to track the person's phone number or any other details like name or address just by scanning the QR Code.
Last update 2 years agoThe device is behind a proxy, a bot from abroad is faking its user agent or there is a chance that the IP address is assigned by us to the wrong country.
Last update 2 years agoYes, the way we track unique visitors is GDPR / CCPA compliant. This is done by anonymizing and hashing the IP address of the user who scans the QR Code.
