Payments by payment slip or Internet banking are time-consuming. The recipient's address, IBAN, invoice number, reason for payment - all of these must be entered correctly in order to make a transfer.
Paying with QR Codes on bank transfers or invoices is a practical, uncomplicated payment method with little effort, fast, direct and error-free.
Create a free QR Code
QR Codes on invoices or payment slips, created by the service provider, merchant or an authority, contain all the necessary information. All you need to do is scan them and release them via the available credit portal (e.g. Sepa, PayPal, Bitcoin). The payment is made immediately and can be checked immediately on your own portal.
You go to physiotherapy or a coaching seminar. After the treatment or training session, the service provider issues an invoice with a QR Code printed on it. Here too, you can easily and directly pay the invoice on site by scanning the QR Code.
You go out to eat with friends. After enjoying delicious food and fine drinks, you ask for the bill. To simplify payment, you take the total amount. Using a QR Code you have created, your friends can now scan the QR Code and transfer the cost of their consumption back to you.
Due to an urgent appointment, you drove a little too fast in your vehicle towards your destination and a nice photo was taken of you. Now you receive an unpleasant anonymous fine with an enclosed payment slip. There is already a QR Code on this payment slip. So you can leave this annoying and irritating matter behind you by simply scanning and releasing it.
Payment transactions with QR Code can be made via all common digital direct debit procedures and credit institutions. Examples include: SEPA, PayPal, Bitcoin.
SEPA is one of the most frequently used direct debit schemes at banks and savings banks. There are basically two ways to use it: one-off or recurring payments.
Service providers, entrepreneurs or public authorities can make the payment process easier for their customers by creating a QR Code. However, as described in the example of the restaurant visit, paying with a SEPA QR Code can also be very helpful in the private sector.
PayPal is another digital "wallet" with which payment transactions can be made simply and easily. A corresponding QR Code can also be created for this direct debit procedure.
Bitcoin is a digital, virtual currency that is not based on any actual value. Bitcoins are only recognized by companies, service providers or private individuals who are prepared to accept or pay with this virtual currency. It is therefore always necessary to make sure that a payment can be made in this currency. A corresponding QR Code can also be created for Bitcoins.
